RE: CRB changes and U4K reboots
|

Title: Message
To reboot
the U4K, send "reset" without the quotes to the same serial port that receives
the network change commands. That is "reset" rather than "setaudio 2 s
...."

How can I reboot
remotely? (I can send signals via SatSked while remotely logged into my
station computer.) I won't be physically at my station till the
weekend.

Can someone from CRB (if you are
on this list) or the CRC in general chime in here on this one? I never
recall having to reboot a U4K to pick up a new channel.
Is this the
case because they are a non-CRC member? Is the receiver reboot a
COMPEL command they cannot do?

On Tuesday December 5th at 6:00
AM we are changing our 3 letter identifiers on the Unity 4000
receiver. Routes will remain the same. The only
thing changing with be the identifier. You will need to reboot
the receiver to find them. I am told if you don't reboot you will
not be able to receive our audio. The changes are as
follows.
CRB will become CB1 AL1 will become CB2
Let me
know if you have any questions. Thanks.
