Man...that was some time ago. My memory isn't what it used to be. Didn't the line feed "jam up" the UTY? Seems like you just needed the carriage return. And we sent a few stand-alone carriage returns between commands to clear the buffer. **Yes, from my automation, I send this character at the beginning and end of every string.
